Warehouse No. 9 – Port of Los Angeles – Dorn Family

One of the things I love about LA County is that there are so many hidden gems to be discovered. What I love about family shoots is that I get to take advantage of these hidden gems and delve into family dynamics. What I love about the DORN Family is that they are delightful, engaging, and just plain sweet. It was so much fun spending the day with them and they allowed me to change plans last minute when I discovered this place in San Pedro (big hugs and kisses to Magda by the way for turning me on to it). So I called Lisa (mama Dorn) about an hour before start time and said: “I found this really cool place in Pedro I’d like to do the shoot at!” She was all game and with a little re-organizing Papa Dorn met us at the warehouse and I met the rest of the crew at my house to begin our adventure. Excuse my rambling…perhaps I should let the photographs speak for themselves…
