It was January 4, Saturday eve, we headed up the trail with guitar and harp in hand. Strumming, you sat down by the cactus in the sand. The hills were not your only audience but something tells me your voice is embedded in their sides. I pulled out the tiny needles from your back – no worse for wear – it’s all part of the experience – I hear you saying in my head. Just like life, the pricks are to be expected, but we shrug them off and carry on. The days have been to short, time’s a flying by…my heart is full, my cup is overflowing. Andi and Fin, there’s so much to be said, and words don’t come easy, but I’m sure you feel me. This is the stuff music is made of…may you carry it with you and release it in song!
I have embraced these days where my home has been filled with the music you’ve created…and “I hear a train a comin’, it’s rollin’ down the tracks” and we will be here with beautiful memories until you come back.
And now, please sit back and enjoy this clip to get a glimpse of what I’m talking about!
Oh, and just in case you didn’t click on the link the first time around…here it is again! Thank you Andi, for putting this behind the scenes video together!
